UKGT Annual Instructor & Blackbelt Seminar - June 2007

On Saturday the 26th June, Mr Bridges and 2 members from Essential TKD, travelled the short distance to leicester to attend the UKGT Annual Instructor and Blackbelt Seminar.

The seminar was held by Master Sahota VII of the UKGT (president of our association) and covered all of the TKD Patterns up to Choi-Yong (3rd Degree). In the first half of the day all of the coloured belt patterns were stepped and talked through by Master Sahota in great technical detail. The application of specific techniques were also discussed in detail!

The second half of the day was dedicated to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Degree Patterns. Once again Master Sahota showed a great technical knowledge and was very inspiring! After stepping all of the patterns, we performed all of the coloured belt and 1st Degree Patterns, watched by Master Sahota and his Higher Grades.

I finished the session feeling extremely tired, but extremely honoured to have trained under Master Sahota.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Master Sahota VII for running such a great seminar. Thanks also to his senior grades that were there to assist.
